Day 28, Monday Miracles

Ah here we are Monday already. I see it's almost noon and I am just getting started. I have had my breakfast with Jesus though, talked to a friend from church on the phone, started dinner in the crockpot, cleaned up my desktop area, exercised my brain cells with a game show, lol, drew a winner for last weeks contest, and here I am finally to blog.

YES I have drawn a winner... hmmm I am thinking maybe the contest mission today will be to find the person who won last weeks contest. I was recently mentioned on a blog and given an award. I have not yet responded and I will do that today and one of the 10 people I named is the winner of last weeks contest.

Your assignment is to visit these 10 blogs and see which one I left the comment on saying they were the winner. Come back and tell me who it was and you will receive an entry into today's contest.

These are in no particulr order and in no way is a complete list, just a sample of the wonderful freinds and connections I have found in the knitting community.

MELANIE
She definitely is a lil of this and a lil of that. I think of here as a blog expert, my blog would be just words without her assistance and wisdom. She is a self taught knitter, and a designer too. There is plenty to be learned from Mel by us all.

SHELLY
My BFF! An ear when I need one, and I always need one. A laugh in the midst of tears, and a song always. She brightens my day just knowing she is there. Her blog is full of entertaining posts and revelations.

MICHELLE
Definitely the most talented crafter and awesome mother I have ever known. A beautiful person with a beautiful family and a gentle spirit that leaves no life untouched.

MARYANN
A friend, new to blogging and knitting but if you haven't seen her doilies yet you are missing out. They are breathtaking to say the least. A fellow Weight Watcher who by the way is melting away. Could it be that Florida air???

CAT
Who can't love someone named Cat??? She loves NASCAR too and that makes her #1 in my book. And by the way a very talented knitter too, must be the German in her.

WENDY
What can I say about Wendy? She is a trooper, she is not a quitter and in spite of things around here she will never hesitate to encourage another. God is going to bless her knitted socks off for sure, because she is such a blessing to others.

KATIE O
Katie, flying high in a job I can only dream of having. I feel important saying well I know a pilot. Traveling and knitting, well who couldn't ask for a better life? It was a good day when she flew onto my blog and we became friends.

DEB
When I first started searching the Internet for stuff to knit, this was one of the first blogs I happened upon. I can't remember the pattern now, but I loved her blog. It's because of her I started one of my own. Bet you didn't know that, did you Deb?

AMY-LYNNE
When you think of a frog, I bet you will now always think of Amy Lynne. It's not easy being green, but her blog is sure easy on the eye and full of entertainment. I bet you have seen and possibly made at least one of designs. My first was the paw print, I made for my grandson Adam. Thanks Amy

GHOST
I am a strong supporter of Close Knit Hugs, I've been donating for a few years now and Ghost here is also a fellow supporter. I often visit her blog to see what new things she is crocheting, such a talent.

Now here's rules:
Give the award to up to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel so happy about Blogland! Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so that they can pass it on. Beware! You may get the award several times!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I so goofed up this blog post today, twice it published on me before I was finished. I still need to notify the winner, and will head off to do this now. Since I'm already published I will save any further chatting for tomorrow. I am in need of BLOG INSURANCE today, LOL. Thank God He is able to forgive all my mistakes. And that brings me peace and assurance. AMEN
AK
Isa 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
