Wednesday- Wake Up, Wake Up

Wednesday's Contest Assignment:
How many hours a night do you normally sleep? Post your answer in the comment section for Wednesday's entry in this June contest.

I can't seem to get enough sleep these days. I am getting maybe 5 straight hours.
~
Today was pretty busy and long, but it was productive. If I was awake I'd tell you more about it, but alas I am sleeping.
~
Have a great night, and I hope Thursday is a wonderful day. Sweet Dreams

Hi kathy,
my sleep varies. some nights , though rare, I can sleep solidly for 7-8 hours. But most nights I'm up and down. loo 3 times, or I wake up for the loo at 4 am and cant go back to sleep again till 7am. It drives me nuts. I always go back to sleep after the kids have gone to school until sbout 10.30am. I bet people who dont know my interupted sleeping patterns think I'm a lazy so and so!!!

I noted you're off to California. I would love to visit there. it was burning hot here for 4 whole days and I was so well. I need to emigtrate somehwere permanently hot!!

2 to 3 hours. I don't recommend it. I can't operate heavy machinery.

Well, I wish I needed only a few hours to function. I really envy those people that can get by on little sleep.

I need at least 6 hours. More than 8 makes me grumpy and tired all day.

If you get a few minutes in your day, when your waiting for someone, take a few to just relax, close your eyes, and this will recharge your batteries. Don't fall asleep, though. Just get some rest and don't do anything. I know it's kinda hard but it will give you a boost.

I usually sleep about six. I generally don't go to bed until Dave is home. During the summer it is tough since he scores softball games. If he is home, I will get 7 to 8 hours.

One other question, since your procedure have you been cold. I am so totally chilled all the time that it is almost painful.

It depends.....Bedtime is 10 PM. Sometimes earlier. Workdays start at 0530. Non workdays - well, I use to be able to really sleep in - 0900 was lovely. These days making it to 0730 is lovely! But then again, it depends whether or not I have to get up in the middle of the night to pee. Back when I could walk, I could just get back into bed and go back to sleep....now that it is such a chore to get into the bathroom, I am usually awake for awhile after. So I really dont know how much sleep I get - but it rarely feels like enough!

I probably get 7 to 8 hrs, but I usually don't sleep well, waking up often, or have trouble falling asleep.

I end up staying up late to get things done (while DD is asleep), but I get woken up early in the morning because she's an early bird.

I really need at least 7 hours sleep, but don't always get it.

My goal is 8 hours, but I almost never get there. I think we're all a bit sleep deprived but there's so much to do and so little time.
