Saturday- See What I Managed To Do?
~
We had a pretty good day today. Still working on the potty training. He just doesn't want to go #2 on the potty. Very frustrating, he is halfway to 5 years old and this should be a done deal already. But today we did manage to sit there 3 times, PROGRESS. Thank God.
~
I finished another project today... It's a pattern I spotted on Ravelry today Valentine Mug Cozy, by accident. Hey it has hearts on it, and we all know I love hearts. She said to use Wool for this but I used cotton instead. Why? Well in my mind I imagined the wool shrinking with a hot beverage in the cup, LOL. Here is my finished project...
YES that is done in FairIsle... my first attempt... and there is a cable running up the side too. Again can I praise that cable necklace enough? It's awesome.
~
Adam has zonked on the couch and I am right behind him. Church tomorrow and possibly a Ladies meeting afterward. The men are all gathering for the Super Bowl... My son Jim made garbage bread and boy does that smell awesome. Good thing I won't be there to be tempted by it tomorrow.
~
My month long contest starts Sunday... hope to see you all everyday. Wait till you see what the prize will be. You'll love it. Hmm should I reveal it at the beginning or keep it a secret until the end? No worries I will show it tomorrow.
~
Sleep tight... I am going to fall asleep listening to "A Knights Tale" on the TV. I don't know why, but I really love this movie. Sweet Dreams everyone.

Friday- Finished-Frogged and February News
AND THE THING THAT WENT WRONG
This was a scarf I started over the summer to teach my physical therapist how to knit. Unfortunatley the yarn and I had a parting of ways... it did not knit evenly and was full of knots and broken pieces. I need to find a smaller project to use it with, I LOVE the color and the sparkles in it. It's just not made for a scarf.
And this is what I have now...
I had to drive my youngest son home this morning from dropping off his brothers car at the dealership... and he noticed that I have several inches now between my stomach and the steering wheel. There was a day when I could barely turn the wheel because it was jammed into my belly. I no longer have to tilt the steering wheel up and today I was thinking I actually need to move the seat up a little, I was stretching to reach the gas and brake pedals.
~
Adam and I have been hanging out all afternoon. I decided to take a break from the headbands and make another pair of felted slippers. I am going to try to do this pair all in one color. The folding may get complicated but I think I can figure it out. This will be a small child size pair, in PINK of course. Maybe pictures to follow this weekend.
~
Sunday is February 1st and my month long contest will begin. I hope you all can stick around and play. I love giving away the prizes. This time I am probably only going to have 1 grand prize, BUT I may have a couple surprises in store on a day not to be revealed ahead of time. You will have to be here to know and to WIN.
~
Have a wonderful night everyone. Sweet Dreams.

Thursday- Heartache and Memories
I like this one, done in a pretty purple and PINK variegated yarn.
~
I also knitted up annother one of the Sunshine Bobble dishcloths. I used this design for a KAL on the KnitDishcloths group this time and I wanted a sample of it done in a solid as well as the variegated. This color is Ivory, but it reminds me of Butter.
And here are the two of them together. I hope to make a 3rd and maybe a 4th and sell them in the ETSY store as a set. I am working on the 3rd right now, almost half way through. I'm getting tired though so it will have to wait until tomorrow.
Not counting the one on the needles I have completed so far 33 projects in 2009. So I am 4 ahead of schedule. Woo Hoo... maybe I will be able to meet this goal after all. See Shelly I am NOT insane. Ok Tell me that again in 3 months when I am 17 projects behind.
~
Adam comes tomorrow after school. I am sure he has plans to keep me occupied all day. I think I might treat him to a cheese pizza for dinner tomorrow. He loves Pizza, what kid doesn't?
~
Today was my weigh in day. Well I actually step on the scale every morning but I only write down the number on Thursdays. I was very happy with the number I saw today. I met one of my mini goals today. I lost 5 pounds this past week. Unfortunatley a lot of that was because I was struggling to keep down everything except breakfast. But it seems to be getting a little better, still waiting for the DR to call me about the problem. I will call them in the morning and remind them they didn't get back to me yet.
~
I watched a movie today that had a quote in it that I don't think I'll ever forget.
~
Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal
but
Love leaves memories that no one can steal
~
Of course we know God can heal a heartache, because He experienced it. But this is more about a people living here with us, normal fleshly people.
~
February is almost here and that means CONTEST time. Are you all ready? I am.
~
Well the night is fading fast so I better get to bed. Sweet dreams my friends. May LOVE fill your hearts as you sleep.

Wednesday- Well What Have We Here?
~
1st this is the current headband I have on the needles. I was hoping to finish it tonight, but I am way too tired. Guess tomorrow morning it is.
See that awesome Cable necklace in that picture... somehow I managed to sleep on that last night. And I did not wake up full of puncture holes. It's a MIRACLE
~
I finally felted the slippers I finished last weekend.
~
Top and bottom view
Modeled on my feet... Actually I decided to use my feet while they tried to help them keep their shape
Yes it was cold... but hey yesterday I walked barefoot on ICE, I think I can dry out a damp pair of felted slippers.
And finally the collection of Nora headbands I have so far. I finished the light green and the Pink/Orange one today.
I wish I had more for you but my brain has checked out for the night.
~
Sweet dreams to you all, I know I will be by the time you read this.

Monday- Bare Foot In the Park? Ice don't think so.
~
Left the house at 8:30 for a 9am DR appt. Got to the car in the garage and my son still had his amplifier and guitar in the back seat from church on Sunday. I couldn't leave it there cause our power window broke and was half way down, so even if I locked the door anyone could reach in and unlock it. So I am moving the stuff to the garagr floor. I'm gonna be late. But God was good, I hit ALL the green lights even the one on the giant hill I always get stuck on. Made it there with 1 minute to spare. Took off my coat sat down and was going to fill in the form they gave me and my name was already being called. I go in next week for another sleep study, and then once more at the end of February to go over the results and do a walking breathing test. She thinks I may be done with the oxygen too. Thank You Jesus. My life is returning to me little by little.
~
I left there and stopped at the office to visit my boss. I haven't seen them since September or October, so it was way before surgery and the weight I have lost. I walked in and the girls saw me first and they were stunned. I looked good, lol. I had on a dress I haven't worn in years and make up too and well, what can I say, LOL. We had a nice visit, I told him I had the surgery, showed him the before and after photos and of course pictures of Adam too. We made plans to do lunch in the Spring. I'll look forward to that.
~
When I first started working for Nationwide I was the only secretary and I had two agents in the office. Most agents had two secretaries. But I was able to handle these two men no problem and I loved my job. They are the original odd couple. Dave was older then us by 15 years, heavy, balding, not short, but not tall. Mike on the other had was young like me (early 20's), tall, handsome, lots of hair, lol. Dave was a messy, cluttered guy, and Mike was always tidying things up. I worked with them for years like this. Then they sold the building and when they were looking to re-locate they split up into their own buildings. Uh Oh, what about me? Well Mike took me.
~
Anyway I decided to visit with Dave today too. I had not seen his new office since he moved in almost 9 years ago. We had a nice visit too. He is a gabber... He recently went to Paris. He looked good. His wife has been pretty ill, but doing better for now. It was great seeing him even though I had to walk across an icy parking lot to get in.
~
I left there and stopped at the Auto parts store to pick up the part we need to try to get the window in the car working. Another very icy walk in and out, but once again I made it without falling. They had the part waiting for me on the counter. Easy Smeasy. By the way the part worked and now so does my window, just in time for the big snow storm arriving very soon.
~
Decided while I was out I'd deliver an Avon order too, since we are in for a snow storm tonight and all day tomorrow. She wanted 2 books, so I ran home first grabbed a second set of books and off to her house I went. This was the treacherous, hardest part of the day. Her driveway slopes and was a sheet of ice. I was wearing sneakers. yeah, I know. Somehow I made it up the driveway (now if I was in my right mind I would have thought what goes up MUST go down, but no not me) climbed the zillion slippery steps and dropped off her stuff. Now I am walking back to the car. I get to the driveway and FREEZE. What am I gonna do? If I fall I will be laying there until someone sees me and calls an ambulance. I stand for a couple minutes hoping a neighbor might walk out and come hold a complete strangers hand as she is on the brink of hysterical tears. But no one. What does everyone work during the day??? So what do I do? I take off my shoes... and in my bare feet I gradually head downward, sort of side stepping, and 5 minutes later I am in the road slipping my sneaks back on. My toes are still Blue just fine. LOL.
~
Came home and had to carry that amplifier and guitar into the house. Couldn't leave it on the garage floor or my husband would have run it over with his truck. Did I mention this amplifier weighs at least 100 pounds??? So walking down the driveway (also icy) carrying the equipment was tough but I did it. It was a day for sure, but a day like this would NEVER have happened prior surgery. NEVER. Thank You Jesus.
~
VICTORY IS MINE, VICTORY IS MINE, VICTORY TODAY IS MINE, I TOLD satan, GET THEE BEHIND, VICTORY TODAY IS MINE.
~
Now I get to finally knit something and relax.
Headband #5 completed, and #6 started
~
Just thought you might like to hop over to Wendy's blog before 4pm on Thursday. She is giving away a pattern kit, and all you have to do is comment. There are a ton of them but you never know who Random Generator is gonna choose.

Guess that's enough for one night, ya think? Sweet Dreams everyone. Til' tomorrow.

Monday- Cocoa Swap Topic #3 and 28 and counting
By the way this is a second lilac colored headband, the other day when Hannah was here and took posssesion of the green kitty, the other felted kitty and Violet the guilty sheep, she also managed to keep the headband too. Oh well, I like to give her things.
~
So far my project total is now 28, so I am a couple days ahead. I so like that, I hate being behind.
~
My son is asking for a pair of slippers. He is complaining of COLD feet. I need to get some more felting yarn I guess. If I am going to go, tomorrow has to be the day since tomorrow night the snow flies again. Six to Ten inches expected. Oh boy, it's still winter in New York.
~
Thought I'd mention again I have added a few contests to my side bar--------->
here on the right. Most are pretty simple to enter just a comment of some sort. Prizes vary, so check them out.
~
Speaking of Contests, I will be starting my February contest on the 1st. it will be month long contest with one grand prize at the end this time. The prize is something I have not featured before... but I think you'll like it, if not for yourself then perhaps as a gift for a friend or family member. So mark it down so you don't forget to stop by everyday in February for your daily entry, OK?
~
Tuesday I have a DR appt with the breathing DR. Hopefully I will get scheduled for another sleep study to determine if I still need the CPAP at night. I am hoping that the answer is NO the sleep apnea is cured.
~
I also plan on stopping by at the office (where I used to work) since it's only a mile from the Dr's office to see my boss. He hasn't seen me since before I had the surgery so I am anxious to know if he notices. I did not tell him I was getting the surgery done either. Funny I was telling my husband today that he and my boss Mike were the only two people I did not tell before hand. When I was working Mike was referred as my "Work Spouse" I think we spent more time together them Gary and I did. I married Gary in 1980 and started working for Mike in 1983 so I have been with them both for a long long time. I actually miss working. But Mike doesn't want me coming back until I am 100% healthy again. That means off of oxygen completely. So maybe this appointment tomorrow will make this option possible sooner then later.

Finally...

Cocoa Swap Topic # 3
~
Marshmallows/Whipped Cream - The big debate.
~
How do you prefer you top your cocoa? If you like marshmallows, do they need to be the big ones, little ones, homemade, gourmet, flavored? If it’s whipped cream, is it fresh, the kind in the can, flavored? Or are you a fluff gal? Or… do you like your cocoa naked? Tell us about how you top off your favorite cup of chocolate!
~
When I was young I liked marshmallows, the mini ones, on my hot cocoa. I remember my mom counting them out for each of us girls. It's been a long time though since I have splurged and had marshmallows. I NEVER even thought about fluff, but gosh that must be very sweet. And as for whipped cream, wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. I think I might be one of the only people alive that does not like whipped cream on anything. Blech. LOL. But since surgery and now no sugar allowed, marshmallows are out... it's naked cocoa for me from now on, and sugar free at that.
~
Well friends... time for me to get to bed, 7am comes pretty fast. Sweet dreams everyone. Until tomorrow...

Saturday- Sniffling and Sneezing
Adam is here, he got a hair cut.
My laptop is back up and running. Look at me I am officially a computer tech, lol, I installed a hard drive all my myself.
I don't have my Word or Excel yet. Or the printer and the ability to get the photos from the camera on here. I am just worn out so that will have to wait until tomorrow.
I did get my slippers sewn together last night, so now all I need to do is felt them. But I think first I'll make a couple more pairs so I can felt them all together. That's my plan for next week, two or three more pairs of slippers.
The electriction is supposed to come tomorrow hopefully he can easily find the problem and fix it without having to tear down the ceiling or tear up the floor upstairs.
I have been adding contests to my side bar as I find them so if you get a chance check them out. You never know, you might just win.
Never made it to the grocery store today I just didn't feel up to it. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it done. No real worries today as I haven't eaten a thing and there was enough to keep Adam fed.
Sorry no pics today... tomorrow I'll have something for sure.
Have a great night and sweet dreams.

Friday- Finished Again
I did manage to finish several things this week... I have already posted all the pictures...
7 Shamrock Bobble Dishcloths
1 Sprinkles Dishcloth
1 Violet the Guilty Sheep
I think I'll post a picture of my nicee Hannah who is now keeping Violet at her house to protect her from the yarn hungry knitters out there, LOL
Not much else is new. I knitted a pair of the Norweigen slippers and just need to stitch them together in the slipper shape and felt them. Those photos to follow shortly.
Good news... the boy hit by the car yesterday apparently has survived. He is in critical but stable condition, not sure if he will pull through or any more details. But there is HOPE.
No Adam yet today, he's not feelign well. he might come tomorrow but not sure yet. I am thinking with the electriction here maybe it would be better to skip this weekend, but I really want to see him. We'll see I guess.
Getting ready for bed, I am sure I'll at least sew these slippers first though.
Sweet dreams everyone, see you tomorrow

Thursday- Violet is Caught
Violet the Guilty sheep was arrested on January 21st, 2009 for the theft of a Violet colored blanket. Thanks to the brilliant detectives, the Dunnit's, Violet was caught red (or violet) handed with the goods on her back. It was "sheer" astute detective skills that kept this crime from unraveling and brought this mystery to an end, even Sherlock Holmes would have been proud.
~
Hugh Dunnit was quoted saying " It was just a matter of sewing the pieces together, even the smallest clue played a part in this tail."
~
Violet the sheep admitted to her guilt but smiled as they took her away saying " Can you blame me? I mean really, this blanket matches my eyes perfectly."
Violet was sentenced to community service, she will be donating wool to local yarn shops for the rest of her life.
~
Today was a pretty good day. Dell called and they are sending me a new hard drive. Of course I will be installing this somehow... where does a hard drive go on a laptop anyway?
~
I called the electriction that wired part of our house when we bought in 15 years ago. My husband thought he was not doing this type of work anymore, so that's why I didn't call him first, even though I wanted to. Well turns out he is still working and came down today. He fixed part of the problem and will be back to try to find out what the rest is. Turns out there was two different issues. Not related as far as we can see, but if the first issue hadn't happened causing us to cut the power to half the house we would have had a major fire for sure. God is so good.
~
I made it to support group tonight. I really missed those, haven't been to one since the week before Thanksgiving. I was really blessed there, and am so glad to have these people as a part of my life.
~
On a sad note... my son Jim witnessed a pedestrian get killed by a vehicle this afternoon. He was a young college student crossing the street, maybe 17 or 18 years old. he had a green light when he started but was walking slow and the light turned red. He realized and started to run, my son was the first car in line at the red light so he waited to go so the boy could get across. Another car, and SUV, was not so patient and pulled out of the line into the outside lane and sped up to get through and hit the kid hard. Please pray for the family of this young boy and for the driver of the SUV, also a young man, and for my son who was undersrtandably shaken up. You just never know when your life will be through, we need to be ready all the time.
~
I started another pair of felted slippers today and finished one... I am now a couple projects ahead of my yearly goal. I so like being ahead instead of behind.
~
Oh weigh in was good, I lost 6 1/2 pounds this week. I am so close to one of my mini goals, maybe by next week, but definately by the end of the month.
~
I guess that's about it for me tonight, it's been a crazy day. Good but crazy. I am ready for a good nights sleep.
~
Sweet dreams everyone and I'll see you all tomorrow.

Tuesday- Cocoa Swap Topic and A Song
No pictures taken today. I have been knitting up on those dishcloths and got 4 more done today. Yeah 4. I was hoping to get 5 but I am tired so I'll finish them up tomorrow while watching Biggest Loser.
Now for the Cocoa Swap Topic this week...
My recipe for Hot Cocoa...
I have never made hot cocoa except from a package. I have however added a few things to my hot cocoa to make it my own...
Here are two of my favorites...
1 tsp of Peanut Butter (like a Reeses PB cup, yummy)
1 spoon full of International Coffee Mocha flavored (almost like a Dunkachino, yummy)
I know I am a little lame and out of the loop when it comes to homemade cocoa... so I am looking forward to all your recipies. I am forseeing some Christmas gifts made from these homemade batches.
Well that's it for me today. I am hoping Dell calls me in the morning, they tried once today but we were disconnected and they never called back, grrrr.
If I can get the computer stuff done I might even get to the pool tomorrow. I could sure use a swim and a hot tub soak about now.
Have a great night, sweet dreams. I'll see you tomorrow.

Monday- Greetings from the Desktop Computer
This picture was taken over the weekend, it's Adam and his new BFF Christopher. Christopher is my sons girlfriend's son. Yeah you got that right? Anyway I got some cute pictures of them only they are all blurry, this was the best of them all, but not the picture I really wanted to share, but you all know I have to brag about show at least one picture of Adam a week, right?
These are the two dishcloths I finished yesterday for the ETSY sale. I will be mailing them tomorrow since there was no postal delivery today. She wants another 6 Shamrock cloths as well, so that will definately catch me up on my 365 projects in 365 days, woo hoo.
Now on our WhoDuKnit group we are knitting a mystery KAL, it was given to us in clues this week and tomorrow we find out what all these clues reveal. Here are the clues we "found" 6 pieces in all.Sunday, January 18, 2009
Sunday- Smokin' and Sorrow
I did finish another dishcloth today. It's part of an 8 cloth dishcloth sale I made on ETSY this weekend.
A friend of mine came by this afternoon and we went to the local mall and walked for 90 minutes. It was a nice time. We have been friends since we were 18, but we tend to go years with out seeing each other, even though we live only 20 minutes from each other. You know life just gets in the way. Well hopefully this is the beginning of more outings together, She is also in the process of losing weight and having the same surgery as I did by my same DR.
Those are the good points of the day... BUT the rest of it, well let's just say that the message at church today might have been just for me. It was about suffering and having faith and not sinning, worshiping even in the midst of your trials and in your darkest hours.
We got our new water heater this weekend. The first one we got was the wrong one... so we had to take it back and get another one. This correct model was of course more money. What I thought was going to cost us about $300 ended up costing us $450. {sigh} But it's in and we have hot water so that's good. My husband and BIL installed it while I was at church. I came home and walked in the house and right away detected an odor, it was like burning metal or something. He assured me all was good and it was just the newness of the water heater.
NOPE
There is an outlet behind my bed, I sat on the bed to start knitting and I hear this loud crackling sound. It stopped but I couldn't tell what it was... then it did it again and smoke filled the house. The outlet was burning up. Well we managed to disconnect the TWO faulty wires before the house burned down... but now half the house is without power. BUT we are still here, so that's good. God is so good, this could have happened when we were out of the house, I am sure we were minutes away from the entire house going up in flames.
The second fatality of the day... My laptop. Yes, it was plugged into the outlet that fried, and now I no longer have Windows on my laptop, it seems to have fried as well. I can't even open the screen to a desktop or anything. Hopefully something like this will be covered by the warranty. BUT the good thing, the desktop computer still works, and my son is letting me use his MAC laptop. Of course this is like an alien to me, but I can at least blog and get on the Internet. But how to you copy and paste????
I did however lose all access to my pictures, my saved mail on the computer, the stuff I was working in for Church when it's my time to preach. BUT I know God will restore things, He always does.
So there you have it...
I am a little nervous sleeping, I do have a fire extinguisher next to my bed just in case. Maybe no sweet dreams for me, but I sure hope you all have some just the same.
Hopefully some good updates will follow tomorrow.

Saturday- I Used My NOGGIN Today
Yep, they are two very different sizes. These are the mittens Adam was wearing when he got off the bus on Friday. OK you can NOT send a child to the house of a knitter with mittens that obviously are not up to code. OMG. I now feel compelled to knit a pair that are equal in size. Only problem with that??? I don't know how to make fingers. YIKES. What am I gonna do? Can I ignore this, and pretend I didn't notice? Will I get any sleep at all tonight while I ponder this and search endlessly for a pattern I can figure out on Ravelry?
~
But on a good note, I completed two more projects today. So I have completed 14 projects in 17 days, I am only three short to be in line for my project a day for the whole year.
~
This is the headband I saw on Ravelry yesterday called Nora. It looked easy smeasy and it had a cable in it. I have been itching to use the Cable Necklace made by jewlery designer Leslie Wind with some helpful ideas from Darcy and sent to me by Jane, and this was the perfect project to start off with. What a great, fast knit. And can I just tell you these cable necklaces are FABULOUS. If I can get enough money together I'd love to buy one and use it as a prize on one of my blog contests.
Yep that's my NOGGIN. LOL. Not too bad for a blind photo, I just held the camera in the air and took a shot. I was shocked to see it came out.
~
I did felt the bags but didn't get a picture. Guess that will wait until tomorrow. Hope you all had a fun and productive day, and a great night. Sweet Dreams.

Friday- Finishing Not Frogging
I actually finished two things today, well I still need to felt them and sew on a button but the knitting part is done so to be it's a FINISHED project.
First I posted this yesterday but it's a dishcloth I designed and knitted up this week. I am pleased with it and hope I can make some more original round cloths.
This is a small purse I made but I never got around to the ICORD. Well that's now done and I can felt it tomorrow and add on the button.
And this is a bag I made today, it will also be felted. I sort of followed the beginning of a Drops pattern but then just did my own thing. I almost ran out of yarn and didn't think I was going to have enough to make the strap, but I was able to use both colors and I think I have just enough. I guess after the felting tomorrow I'll know for sure.
I also finished a couple more Kitty's but I blogged about those a few days ago as well. Here is another picture of the 4 of them. My sons girlfriend already adopted the fat felted one.
Adam is here and we have been playing all day. I think he has every toy out of his toy box. I told him he had to clean up some of those toys so Papa doesn't come down and step on them. Adam in his wise 4 year old voice said "Cleaning is BORING". Where did you hear that Adam? I asked... "From you Nana". What??? I never said that... I don't think I ever said that.
~
Well it's almost 11:30pm and both Adam and I are still up. But I plan on changing that pronto. So good night everyone, see you all tomorrow. Sweet dreams and stay warm. It's mighty cold here in Upstate New York tonight.

Tuesday- Take Two, Take Three, Take ???
~
Well update on my son Joe... he saw the DR and is out of work for the rest of this week with orders to see an Chiropractor. I am sure he will be fine, maybe just need a little adjusting.
~
Other then that it was a quiet day. I do want to make mention of another contest I heard about. You need to go and tell who your favorite character in literature is to enter. Easy Smmeasy, huh? If you say I sent you I get an extra entry too. {{hint, hint}} Click here to go to the Contest Blog. It will also be in my side bar contest section.

And Now what took most of my day today... The Cocoa Swap 2 Scavenger Hunt Challenge. There are 21 participants and 20 questions. OK so at least one name would be used twice. I thought there would only be one name for each question even though several could have an answer that matched. So iIread, and searched and re-read, and searched again and I think I gave myself 21 new grey hairs. One name was NOT even used as an answer... I wondered if it was an oversight or if Michelle did that on purpose to get me off the scent, LOL. Paula I did read your questionaire even though you were not one of the answers. Now here is what I have. After seeing others list more then one name as an answer I went ahead and did the same. Here's what I finally ended up with. Oh funny thing, when I first read the questions I wasn't sure what question my name went with, how sad is that?

Monday- Mangled Maddness & A Makeover
~
Here is Jims Car. Or what's left of the driver side anyway. We got the claim called in today and got him a rental car and now we wait. If it's fixable hopefully it will be done before the 20 days rental runs out or until we can contact the other drivers insurance company for reimbursement.
Joe is feeling OK, still pretty sore. He made an appointment to see the DR tomorrow to make sure he is OK.
Well I (thank's to Beth) tried again to get my layout changed on the blog. I had the instructions before but I obviously did something wrong because it didn't work and I gave up. This time I did it right because it is now a three column. Now I found a picture I wanted to use for the header... but when I tried to download that all my side bar buttons disappeared. {{{sigh}}} Now I know Beth mentioned this but I am too brain dead today to figure out what I have to do. So this will wait until tomorrow, or February, LOL.

I didn't felt the kitty yet. I decided to knit another and I will felt one stuffed and one un-stuffed. I must know which way works better.

Sunday- See me in the SNOW, Nana?
Adam and I went into the backyard after church today to play in the snow. He was making footprints and "paw" prints so we could find the "clues", we made a few snowballs and tried to make a snowman but the snow was too soft. Then we went inside the garage and he rode for a bit on his big wheel. After the bike incident yesterday I knew he'd enjoy that. I was, however, FREEZING. I found an old coat hanging in the garage and put that on, where was my coat you ask? Well it was still in the car, oops. Anyway this coat in the gargae didn't fit me, but it was wool and I liked it so I saved it. It fits now. It will fit really good next winter when the coat I have now will be way too big. God is so good.
