Don't these grapes just look so happy? Almost like they are whistling while they work. Hmm what kind of work exactly do grapes do? LOL
Well I started the sock yesterday. I started right after I blogged in the morning and by bedtime this was all I had accomplished. I started, frogged, tried a different pattern, frogged, cast on with circulars, frogged, tried DPN's, frogged, finally I ended up with this. It was 9pm by then and I was tired, LOL
I am by the way "Flat Feet" challenged. I couldn't figure out how to knit 2 socks at the same time, I need hands on help, LOL. And the "Flat Feet" panel is 2 strands thick... so i ended up un-raveling it into 2 equal sized balls of yarn. That took forever too, but thank God I have no knots to untangle.
Today is water therapy and church tonight so I expect no more progress will be done until Thursday, but I'll keep you posted.
OK onto CONTEST STUFF
WEDNESDAY is RIDDLE DAY
Don't you love a good riddle or a good rhyme?
I myself write tons of them all of the time
Today's theme is knitting related of course
It has nothing to do with food or a horse
My topic today are tiny and thin
And using them is so not a sin
Sometime there are three or four or five
Depends on the pattern, you get my jive
I prefer the bamboo version for my joints
Yep these needles are my harmony double ????
Ok there you go! Post your answer to this riddle in the comment section to receive another entry
in this weeks contest for the Knitters Gadget Jackpot. Remember your answer doesn't have to be correct, you just have to comment.
I guess that's about it for me today... I am off to get some breakfast... fresh strawberries (not grapes today... I just couldn't, LOL) and some yogurt. I like a light breakfast before going to the pool.
Have a wonderful day today, whistle, or hum your favorite uplifting song today while you knit or work or play.
See you all tomorrow, I hope.

"Points" I still need to get me some...I have one set of 7's aluminum and they are way too slippery to work with...maybe now that Jackis working I can get me some wood ones and try my hand at using them.
Hope you have a great day today...
Points! I'm so proud that I got it this week!!! I love my harmony dpn! Good work on the sock!
That would be points. I don't like using dbl points. Haven't quite figured them out.
Points! Hmm, strawberries sound good
Points! I've gotten hooked on 2 at a time toe-up socks on 2 circulars. Seems they go much faster. But at the same time I prefer dpns for baby hats.
Love water walking & stretching exercises. Have fun.
well, "points" was the first thing that jumped into my mind...
Those grapes do look good!
I nearly had strawberries and yogurt for breakfast too -- but decided to have it for a snack later instead! Love the stoneyfield organic fat free plain yogurt! And the Greek Gods plain fat free is delish too!
Points! :D I've only ever used bamboo dpns. Although, I did just get some aluminum sock ones cause who could pass up a set for less than a buck! ;)
... points.
I love DPNs, but I can't say I've ever tried using circulars for socks.
'points'... I don't use them... they scare me. Too little and too much going on... and no, I do NOT knit socks. I have no desire.
Of course the answer is "points". I can't decide if I want to knit 2 socks on 2 circs, or 1 sock on 2 circs, or go the old standby and use DPN's.
I love the colorway of that yarn, BTW. Can't wait to see more of it done.
Good luck with your socks. They look great so far! I have yet to figure out how to knit two socks at the same time with dpn's ;) I guess one of these days I should learn magic loop...but I'm happy with my old dpn's!
happy knitting :)
Points (of course). I love my bamboo dpns and use them 5 at a time. I've tried the circ's for sock knitting and they slow me down. Hooray for bamboo!
Points, what else could it be? I prefer my nickle dp's htat I get from Knitpicks, but I use bamboo when I have a tricky pattern. I think I also need one-on-one lessons to use circulars, I just can't figure out how to use them for a sock :-)
Points!
I like that yarn you're using...nice colors.
Some day I will get some of those Harmony needles.
Cute photo of the grapes.
Hugs!
Points! dpn's!!!! Love the grapes! The work they do is give you vitamins and fiber and natural sugars! But you have to eat them first!! Hope you are doing well!! We moved and are in a residence Inn until August 11!
Double Pointed Needles. Thanks for having this contest, I enjoy the opportunity to win stuff!!
Will definitely be linking!
