So there you go... I think it is a pretty stitch, would make a nice square for a charity afghan
Now to get your entry today for the contest post in the comment section if you tried this stitch, if you plan on trying sometime in the near future or if you already know this stitch tell us how you like it and what you made using it. If you are a knitter only, you're out of luck. NO NO just kidding. If you don't crochet, no problem just say so, and as long as it is in the comment section today it counts for an entry.
Around here the rules are easy, just leave a comment, it really doesn't matter what your comment says, lol.
Don't forget to send your friends over and if they say you sent them you do get an extra entry in this weeks contest. I am seeing some real excitement over the small project bags and I am not surprised. They are wonderful. Bea has a great talent.
Have a wonderful day everyone, get out that scrap yarn and crochet hook if you can. Play some inspirational music in the background and just let God's peace flow over you. Nothing beats that, NOTHING.
HUGS

Good Morning......I did my swatch and I think it would also make a nice shawl...
Hope your day brings many blessings.....
Very pretty! I would love to try this... I don't crochet really, but can do in emergencies! LOL!
It would make a really nice border around a face cloth or something. I may have to try it!
Good morning. I love that stitch. More importantly, while I am primarily a knitter, I want to crochet (it is so much faster than knitting) a prayer shawl for my sister-in-law. I have the yarn but really was looking for something that wasn't terribly plain. I have the yarn and now, I have the stitch! Thanks much.
I actually have tried this stitch before, but it wasn't right for the project so I frogged it. But it is pretty and I can definitely see me using it again (on the right project this time). :D
That is a very pretty stitch. I am going to play around with it and see what I come up with. Since it is too hot today to do anything outdoors I'll be crocheting!
What a beautiful stitch! I think I will try it tonight. I came here from Wendy B's blog, you have a really nice site. Thanks for the invite!
That is a pretty stitch! I am terrified of crochet, for some reason...why? I like crocheted things....I feel comfortable knitting with 2 needles, I guess. One day I will plunge into crochet....
I think I have done this stitch before. Could it be a type of shell stitch? This would make a beautiful shawl or afghan.
Very kind of you to include some crocheting! I've actually done this stitch. I think I made a baby blanket using it. Remember, I'm a crocheter who knits! lol
Need to finish my kitty bag, and get those cemo caps made. But what am I doing? Hanging out at Ravelry and checking your blog! I'll never get anything done at this rate!!
Very pretty stitch! But I am one of those out of luck knitters! I can only chain and SC if I have the directions in front of me!
I'm on a crochet kick right now so this is perfect! I'll try it tonight.
Very pretty stitch! I'm not a crocheter and only a new knitter. The stitch reminds me very much of an afghan that my grandmother made years ago.
It's pretty, but oh my, those instructions look like Greek to me. I still haven't learned how to crochet yet.
WOW you are generous!! A contest EVERY DAY?! .... I'm in awe... I bow down to your generosity ;)
In terms of the stitch... I'm only just learning crochet so I probably won't be tackling it just yet. But it is a pretty stitch! First I have to learn crochet-lingo & how to read crochet patterns! LOL
Crochet..very cool! Love the swatch. I'm impressed to see crochet so openly flaunted before knitters..chuckles ;) I will absolutely work it up I'm done having to be careful with my arm.
just got home and am relaxing a few minutes before the crazy at home things begin! will try to get a swatch done but no promises! beautiful weather today!!
Hi Kathy!!
I flip-flop back and forth between knitting and crocheting, so I was glad to see your instructions here. I haven't gotten out my "just one hook" in a little while, and this inspired me. I'm going to be making baby blankets soon (NO, not for me!!), and this would be an adorable stitch for a blankie, don't you think?? These blankies are for little preemies.
As for inspirational music--you know me and my music--only problem is--sometimes I get lost in the music, singing along, and then I got lost in where I'm supposed to be in my project!!
Have a wonderful day!!
Hugs to you,
Beth
I didn't get a chance to try the stitch, but I've copied it, so maybe today I'll try it out. Getting ready to catch a flight home. Ick... I hate riding the airlines... I like my plane much better!! lol
I'm so late commenting this time. It's been storm central around here the last few days.
I can't do this one anyway cuz crochet is not my friend...it's pretty though.
Hugs!
