This is where I was NOT today. I ONCE walked out on a frozen body of water and I was scared out of my mind.
Now since I have not finished my project yet, I can't show you what it really is supposed to look like, but I can give you another teaser... I hope to get this finished soon. I know you are all wondering what the heck it is. Actually I am beginning to wonder myself, LOL

I was NEAR a osy of frozen water today...today was the day we took the kids sledding, and guess what? It was a blast and I yes ME..I even went down on the sled...what fun, been coons ages since I have done that and want to do it again..the kids LOVED momma going down, even more so when I stopped right in the middle of a water puddle and had to get up...nice and wet.....

I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to go out on a frozen pond or lake. I sometimes watch the show "Ice Truckers", where those semi's drive over frozen ocean during a certain time of the year (in Alaska). They get paid well, but you couldn't pay me ENOUGH to do something like that! :-o
I don't know what it is but it looks like it has legs, so I'm scared...
I don't walk on ice. I tried ice skating, too, but I ended up sitting on ice a lot, which was too cold for me. So now I sit in the house and watch the ice thaw. :)

Get this--we once rode snowmobiles across a lake in Old Forge, NY--lucky for me I didn't know it was a lake and thought it was just continuation of the snow or I would have been scared to death!!
Is Old Forge near you? That's one of my very favorite places to be.

A bunch of ice fisherman on Lake Erie had to be rescued yesterday because the weather got warm, the sun was out and the ice broke. Another group had to be rescued on Saturday.

We are having an early thaw. I would not be out on any frozen body of water! I used to go ice fishing when I was a kid. I don't understand why all the hype. It's freezing, boring, and freezing. did I mention ice fishing is freezing? LOL
