Sunday- Contest Day #8- A Day Of Rest and Rewards

Sunday is a day of rest so as for CONTEST stuff just say "hey" in the comment section and you are IN. Easy Smeasy HUH?
~
Now I chose a random day from the first 7 and from all the people who commented and actually answered or played the Contest Focus I numbered them and let REGIS (my random number generator) pick a winner. The day chosen was Wednesday, the Contest mission was to guess what you thought my pink mystery knit item was. There were 20 comments that day and 17 of the 20 made a guess. So Regis chose a number between 1 and 17, and the winning number was...

16- Which belongs to KATIE O
~
So Katie you are the winner of my first mini prize this month. I'll be contacting you shortly to arrange the mailing of your prize, OK?
~
This is where I was NOT today. I ONCE walked out on a frozen body of water and I was scared out of my mind.
Now since I have not finished my project yet, I can't show you what it really is supposed to look like, but I can give you another teaser... I hope to get this finished soon. I know you are all wondering what the heck it is. Actually I am beginning to wonder myself, LOL

Yeah, I know... what on earth can this possibly be?
~
Well I am out of here for today. Have a great night my friends, and sweet dreams

I have no clue what it is, but my curiosity is certainly piqued.

Congratulations to KatieO!:-)

I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to go out on a frozen pond or lake. I sometimes watch the show "Ice Truckers", where those semi's drive over frozen ocean during a certain time of the year (in Alaska). They get paid well, but you couldn't pay me ENOUGH to do something like that! :-o

I don't know what it is but it looks like it has legs, so I'm scared...

I don't walk on ice. I tried ice skating, too, but I ended up sitting on ice a lot, which was too cold for me. So now I sit in the house and watch the ice thaw. :)

Congratulations, Katie!!!

I'm guessing a flower--not sure what kind yet--but a flower.

Get this--we once rode snowmobiles across a lake in Old Forge, NY--lucky for me I didn't know it was a lake and thought it was just continuation of the snow or I would have been scared to death!!

Is Old Forge near you? That's one of my very favorite places to be.

Around here they drive their trucks out on the ice - I think they are NUTS!

I have to agree with you AK....no frozen water for me. I am too afraid of freezing to death because the ice broke.

A flower.

Hope you are doing well.

Congratulations Katie.

A bunch of ice fisherman on Lake Erie had to be rescued yesterday because the weather got warm, the sun was out and the ice broke. Another group had to be rescued on Saturday.

Is it some kind of flower?

guess it's not a headband unless the intended recipient is a pygmy, LOL.
Looks interesting though.

We are having an early thaw. I would not be out on any frozen body of water! I used to go ice fishing when I was a kid. I don't understand why all the hype. It's freezing, boring, and freezing. did I mention ice fishing is freezing? LOL
