Friday- Friends Found Me

Thought you might want to see the house my da dlives in now. Tbhis is where I am staying for this vacation most of the time. There is no grass, but the rock yard is very beautiful.
~
My friends Cory and Cathy both came by today to visit. Cory is the one getting married at the end of the month. It was great seeing them both, the first of many friends I will connect with on this trip.
~
Dinner tonight was scallops. I have always loved them but can't seem to cook them myself and haven't had them in a restaurant in over 15 years. I was wondering if I still loved them as much as I remembered, and I DO. Delicious.
~
Tomorrow we go to my aunts house for a 4th of July BBQ. I will see both of my aunts and several cousins and am excited about that.
~
We watched another movie tonight, "Life as a House" I have seen it before years ago, but it's a great movie, a tear jerker for sure. If you haven't seen it and you don't mind crying you'd probably enjoy it. I think my dad has 3000 DVD's. He is a movie fanatic.
~
It's late here midnight so I better get to bed. I'll write more tomorrow. have a great night and sweet dreams everyone.

Happy 4th! Enjoy your BBQ. I think a rock yard is brilliant - no grass to mow!

No mowing!!!!! I love it.

Glad you're having such a great time. Drink it up, and I've added the movie to my list!

BTW - the tour de france this morning has been amazing, since you don't give a shit, I thought I'd update you with useless info. I didn't want you to miss me or anything *wink*

With all the weeding I do, I can definitely appreciate a rock garden!

So glad you're having a good time out there. My uncle used to live in California, so we would go visit him occasionally and it was always thrilling for me.

Cooking scallops is really easy. We make them a lot here. I learned from watching cooking shows. :)

Yes, you found another great movie. I watched that movie just before that young boy took the huge role of Annakin/Darth Vader in the first three Star Wars movies. Talk about amazing.
