Friday- Faint, Fit and Finally

There it is, finally, the progress photo of my sock. Not sure how to model on the foot with the DPN's still in, so my hand will have to do, LOL. I am ready to do the foot and then the toe and it's done. It will be more of an ankle type sock and just a plain old pattern, don't want to attempt anything detailed yet, let's just get the first pair of socks done then I can experiment.
~
I swear I didn't work as much when I worked 4 jobs at once. I was out of the house today at 8am and didn't sit to relax until 8pm.
~
I even went to my sons art exibition tonight. I think I had to walk 2 miles around the SUNY campus but it's the first time I have ever made it to one of his shows. Here is a picture of some of the art we saw there, this is NOT my sons work...but it sort of describes how I looked and felt after the marathon walk to find the art museum, lol. ~
Tomorrow is another fun packed day but thankfully not as busy as today, I hope.
~
Time for bed, hope you are also asleep. Sweet dreams everyone.

I can't try on my socks with DPNs on them either.

At first, I would slip the stitches onto waste yarn, and this was fine for trying on the sock. But it was a pain to put the stitches back on the needles.

Now I transfer stitches from DPNs onto 2 circular needles. MUCH better. Easy to try on sock. Easy to slip stitches back onto DPNs.

Have a wonderful weekend Kathy!

Oh I envy you being able to walk around like that. I did get on the scale today for the first time in ages and I'm ready to try to lose the weight again. I can't have the surgery as you've done, so I have to do it the old fashioned way. Right now, all I know is that I'm ready to give it a real try.

*hugs*

Ok. Those are disturbing. It's amazing what some people consider art. Now your knitting? That shoulda been there.

Happy Mother's Day Girlie!
