Monday- What's The Word? PEACE is the Word.

I saw this on Carla's blog, and thought I'd take the quiz.

I see life as precious, and I wish everyone was safe, happy, and taken care of.

Social justice, human rights, and peace for all nations are all important to me.

While I can't stop war, I try to be as calm and compassionate as possible in my everyday life.

I promote harmony and cooperation. I'm always willing to meet someone a little more than halfway.

GUESS WHAT??? I broke the dry spell and knitted something today. It started like this and when it was done...

Now my dilema is I DO NOT KNOW where this pattern came from. I don't know the name of the pattern, or the designer. NOTHING. I had a printed out page with the directions only, no picture, no web site nothing. So I decided to knit it to see what it was. I was intrigued because it was a dishcloth and it called for DPN's. This was new territory for me. I eventually had to move it to circulars because the stitches kept falling off the short DPN's I was using.

So I would like to give credit where credit is due. Does anyone out there know where this pattern came from? HELP me link it to the awesome designer. Please!!!
~
I used size 3 DPN's and this cloth was 10 1/2" around, a nice big one, but I LOVE it. I will make more of these for sure.

OK DILEMA SOLVED, LOL I FOUND THE PATTERN IN MY QUEUE, DUH. SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THERE FIRST HUH... It's called Doily Style Dishcloth, on Dishcloths Boutique. Quick go Queue it you know you wanna knit it.

OK, I am off to clean up a few things and then get to bed. I shoveled the driveway twice today and my body want's some special treatment, it will have to settle for a used bed and a tylenol.

Good night everyone, sweet dreams.

Nice dishcloth. I've only made one kind of lacy round cloth, and it required seaming (something I hate to do), so this dishcloth started in the center and knit in the round looks so much easier.

Get some rest, hope you feel brand new tomorrow morning.

Interesting doily! I've done quite a few round ones but never on dpns.

My word is "Love". Pure and simple. My second word would be "Peace". :)
