Well I had a couple pictures to show today but my computer is acting up, so all you are gonna get is words. I don't feel like re-starting the computer right now, and I really want to blog today, already. LOL.
Adam is napping. He goes home tonight. "Papa" wants us to keep him until tomorrow but I am so tired. I think the stress is catching up with me. Not to mention I hate seeing him suffer with the bathroom problem. His other grandma did send down one of those glycerin spikes, it was in a sandwich baggie, no other info. I wasn't going to use it until I read the comments here yesterday. And last night he was hurting, it helped. But that was last night. I will also try the fiber stuff next weekend.
I finished both leaf cloths and knit up a pattern I created for someone, it's the symbol of the Presbyterian Church. I like how it turned out. I will be posting that pattern on my pattern site, along with a picture too, hopefully today or tomorrow. I still have to type up the directions, I worked it up from the graph drawing.
Tomorrow during the car race I will work some more on the lace top. The picture doesn't do the pattern justice, in between the lacy holes is such a beautiful pattern. I may see if I can make a smaller square of the pattern into a dishcloth, wouldn't that be pretty?
Oh... my title... S A TUR DAY Night... Yes I am a grown up Bay City Roller fan. I am not ashamed to admit it either. LOL. I hear the song on a planters peanut commercial and next thing I know I am humming it all day.
Do you have a favorite band or group from your youth?
When my kids were little toddlers I used to sing and dance to "The Bump" another Roller song. So when Adam was a baby I started singing it to him, he LOVED it. In fact when he was home and if he was crying, Angie would call me on the phone and I'd start singing it and he would stop crying. It's almost time for me to teach him the actual BUMP dance. Of course I am not as in shape as I was for my kids, but it will be good exercise for me.
Monday starts the contest, are you all ready? Not sure what I will start off with... still deciding on my options. And still deciding on the gift prizes too... I want to have some good stuff in there, but different then last time.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Court is OVER
COURT IS OVER, WOO HOO
Well court lasted about 3 hours. Joe (my son) did go even though he had no sleep in over 24 hours. Adam has not been removed from the house. They will however observe them for a year, and pending no further major injuries etc. this will be all over, finally.
Poor baby though is still having trouble going to the bathroom. He is just waking up from a very short nap, crying. It hurts him so bad. I keep feeding him apple juice but it hasn't kicked in yet.
I am glad this is over for now, though. It was way too stressful for me. He is such a part of our lives.
On the knitting front... I am making a couple dishcloths for some people on the Weight Watcher thread, we have a little monthly challenge going and the winner gets a free gift. I decided to make the Oak leaf dishcloth pattern, from knitting pattern central. I have one done and another one started. Since the month is almost over I figured I had better get stared pretty quick, so I had to set aside the lacy top I was working on. But I did take a picture of the lacy top on the needles, here is my beginning, the link is also attached, in case you want to try it yourself, LOL.

Sue, the box from you arrived yesterday afternoon. I am so blessed by your giving spirit. The cotton yarn is awesome, and just what I was needing. I had several variegated colors but no solids except hot orange, now I can do up some of those picture cloths I have been saving until I could get some solid colors. Thank you so much, I will in turn repay the gift to another, you can count on that.
Still getting things together for my blog contest Starting October 1st. I thought I'd mention another contest I cam across yesterday, it only runs until October 3rd, but she has a beautiful basket of yarn as the prize. Here is her blog address...

I guess that's all the update from my end, can;t wait to hear all about your day.
See you in the morning with more...

PS Thank you all for the prayers and positive thoughts about Adam. It really meant alot to me. More then you will ever know.

Thursday, TV night, LOL
I LOVE Thursday TV night. it was always one of my favorites...
Survivor, ER, Without A Trace... just to name a few. My DVR will be running in full force tonight.
Adam will be here at some point today. So probably won't get to watch anything live unless he has fallen asleep.
Tomorrow is the court date. I will be so glad when it's over and maybe I can start sleeping again. Of course if it goes badly I may never get out of bed again. {{{sigh}}} I am trying not to go there. I need to believe in faith that it's all going to be OK, meditate on the good things and not worry about the unknown.
On a brighter note, I have been working on this lacy top, the one I frogged out 3 times already. It's done in a 16 row repeat pattern, and I have completed 3 repeats already. I think I have finally gotten it down and am so pleased with how the pattern looks. Even nicer close up then the picture on the pattern. I am not using the yarn they suggested, I don't have it. But the yarn I am using (and I can't tell you what it is yet, cause it's too far away from the computer, lol) is working up beautifully. I hope I have enough of it to finish the top and the sleeves.
I am working on what the prizes will be for the October contest. I have a few ideas in my head but I don't have all the stuff, so until I do the prize may just show a big ???. But I think you'll all like it when I finally do get to post it.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot I got a package in the mail today full of yarn from a friend from the weight watcher website. I have never met this person, but she knows I love yarn and thought of me. Some is unused and some are bits and pieces but I can use it all. I am so blessed.
My message went over well last night. I am done for about 6 weeks now. Wonder what revelation God will give me next time? I am still chewing on this weeks message.
I guess that's all from me today. I am hungry and need to go get breakfast. And maybe today I will even take the extra step and make some coffee. It's been a couple months since I had any, I bet my blood pressure will go thru the roof from the jitters. LOL

Wednesday, Church night
Howdy
My dad always used to say Howdy. In fact I think he still does. That's one of my fondest memories of my dad.
I enjoyed talking about the books yesterday.
Laure, I googled to look up the Little Star story and I found two of them. I was wondering if either one was the one you remember? I saved them, maybe I could email them to you to see... send me an email when you can since I don't have yours. My email is gimpykatk@aol.com
That said here's a question for you all? What was/is your favorite Disney movie?
Mine is The Jungle Book.
I ask because I see it's coming out on DVD next week for a limited time and I sure would love to get it. "It's a Bare Necessity" if you ask me, LOL. I also love the Lion King too... great songs there... "a cuma matada" means no worries for the rest of your days.
I got my message outline done finally. Thought I'd share it with you all here. Feel free to skip this next section if you don't want to read it. I won't be offended.
*********************
It starts with a conversation I was having with my friend Shelly. We were talking about another WW doing so well, and I commented that I want to do well too, but there are too many hurdles in my way. I can't lose weight if I can't buy food. It's not that I don't want to but things are just too bad around here.
In obedience to God, she said " I know where you're coming from, but it does sound like a cop-out doesn't it?"
So I went onto explain it in a more visual way.
Stacking cards to make a card house. I know how to do it, I have done it before many times. I have even taught others how to stack the cards. God called me to stack these cards years ago and I did, for a long time. But then the wind storms came, and the rain, and the place where I was left to try to stack the cards. I used to be in a house, no people around to blow on my tower, no risk of an outside source blowing it down. But now I am out in the open, not even a table to build on, I have to use the unstable ground, and tornado's, hurricanes and dogs etc, keep knocking down all my efforts. It's not fair.
Sounds credible right? WRONG. God interrupted me right there and said...
"My daughter, I called you to build card houses, I did not say they must always stay upright and standing, I just called you to keep building"
OUCH...
I stopped building because I couldn't keep the structure standing, but God will take care of the standing part, He just wants me to be obedient to the building.
My scriptures to go with the message are:
Pro 23:12 Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.
Pro 8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
Pro 4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
********************
Only a few more days until the October contest starts. I am getting excited, are you?
Well I guess that's all for today. See you tomorrow

Tuesday's child is full of grace
Does anyone remember that poem... The Seven Days
Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesdays child is full of grace
Wednesdays child is full of woe
Thursdays child had far to go
Fridays child must work for a living
Saturdays child is caring and giving
But the child born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay
(gay meaning happy)
I read this book ( The Seven Days)when I was in grade school and loved it. It's so out of print and no libraries even have it anymore, but a couple years ago, I searched it and finally found one of two copies left to be bought. I got it for my birthday, a gift to myself, as is the norm around here, I paid $40.00+ for a used grade school book, but it's mine and I can read it again anytime I want. It's about a family with seven children each born on a different day of the week, their last name is Day. And each child has an adventure that matches what is says about being born on their specific day.
Do you have a book you remember from your childhood? I used to love reading Ramona books too, and Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew.
I had a rotten day trying to knit yesterday. I ripped out three things, nothing was going right. I may just do a couple simple crocheted squares for immediate gratification today and watch stuff I dvr'd this week. But first I need to spend some time working on my message for church tomorrow night.
My son Joe starts his job tonight. let's pray he sticks with it. It's an overnight job, stocking shelves from 10pm to 6am, but if he can do it it is the perfect job for him.
Not much else is new here today... No pictures to share, no exciting stories to tell... but I was watching some sitcoms last night and on 2 of them they mentioned having blogs, and I smiled. I have one of those, lol, I am up to date with the times for a change, LOL.
Have a great day, I'll be back tomorrow morning.

Marvelous Monday
Just another fun filled day for Adam. I did not go to this party, but I had my sister take my camera cause I wanted pictures. She said he was very good, loved the bouncy bounce. Wasn't scared of the clown but wanted to play with the stuff in his bag more then sit in the circle and watch him. He's three. They had face painting too, but Adam wanted NOTHING to do with that, in fact when they kept trying to get him to do it, he decided he just wanted to go home. My mom drove him home around 6pm... somehow he managed to convince her to stop at Burger King and buy him some chicken nuggets and french fries. No one, absolutely no one, can resist Adam, he's just too cute.
Friday is the court date for him, once that cloud is gone I think things will be less stressful around here.
SO I WAS THINKING, A MONTH HAS PASSED AND PERHAPS IT'S TIME TO HAVE ANOTHER BLOG CONTEST. I THINK I WILL START IT ON OCTOBER 1ST AND RUN IT LIKE THE LAST ONE, SOMETHING DIFFERENT EACH DAY AND A PRIZE AT THE END. SO TELL YOUR FRIENDS, PUT A LINK TO HERE ON YOUR BLOG WHATEVER, THE MORE THAT PLAYS THE MORE FUN IT IS. I LOVED SEEING ALL THE COMMENTS AND GUESSES THE LAST TIME.
MORE INFO TO FOLLOW AS THE MONTH NEARS.
Hopefully that will make you smile on a Monday, lol. No rainy days and Monday's getting us down around here, right?
I sure missed everyone this weekend, the weather here was great, except for one huge rainstorm Saturday night on our drive home from the clam steam. So I am guessing everyone was enjoying the weekend with friends and family.
Hope to see you all today.

One more fun packed day with Adam
Adam had a blast from the moment his sneakers hit the ground at the clam steam yesterday. There was an abundance of kids there and lots of open range to roam and run on. he spent alot of time climbing the rope ladder and sliding down the slide, and he loved whatever that ball toy he was playing with.
Another party for him to go to today after church, this one will have a clown, a bouncy bounce house/maze and a cotton candy maker among who knows what else. I guess she spent over $2000 on this party. I think she is CRAZY
I finished the bookmark I made too. It came out pretty, but it was supposed to me made on size 3 needles but I can't find mine... so I used size 5, it's a little thick for a bookmark, but at least I was able to figure out the pattern. I have some really thin pink yarn and might try another one using that instead. The pattern came from http://knitwithkt.blogspot.com/2007/07/no-wrong-side-bookmark.html. here are a couple pictures of the one I made.
Well I guess I best get breakfast started and diapers changed so we won;t be late for church.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

Let the weekend begin
I found this pattern on Crochet Central... the link to the pattern is
http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=39446
I crocheted up this cute purse yesterday to go with the one I did on Thursday. I really like this cupcake, it's pretty cute. It's bigger then I thought from the picture. I guess it's the size of a small coffee can, maybe a little rounder though. I just used some scrap yarn I had on hand. What a neat idea though.
Adam is sitting next to me right now, he wants to be a part of this computer every time I am online. He loves to play computer games. he doesn't know how to use the mouse yet, so really I play the games but he tells me what to do.
Went to bed early last night, around 11:30 Adam crawled in with me about a half hour later. I got him back to the couch but woke up this morning with him in bed with me again. Needless to say I had about 8 hours sleep, but I didn't sleep comfortably.
Today we go to a clam steam/birthday party at my brother in laws, I expect my husbands whole family to be there. I hope it's not humid out, like it was yesterday. I really have a hard time breathing when it's humid.
Adam got a little tractor and a fence and some animals for a birthday present yesterday. The fence had four pieces that hook together, and last night Adam was holding it and saying "square" then he stretched it a little and said "diamond" it was so cute. He really is pretty smart. Yesterday he was counting backwards from 10.
Ok maybe I am a little prejudice, LOL.
Well I have a headache now, my husband just did something that was very stupid, could have had severe consequences, and he doesn't know why I am so mad. It's giving me a headache. Maybe I am over emotional because of TOM (aren't I old enough to be done with this already?).
Anyway, I guess I'll go wrap those purses and let Adam play a game or two.
See you all tomorrow.

Friday finally, Adam comes today
Hello, I am back
Feeling better today, I am sure that's cause I know Adam is coming.
This is the little purse I made yesterday. I just kind of winged the pattern, I was at first trying to make a heart shaped, but I ended up with a triangle, I made two of them using half double crochet stitch, I decreased on the ends of the rows until it made a triangle, then I sewed them both together and single crocheted around the opening, then went around again making holes for a drawstring, and once more with a scalloped edge. I double strand crocheted a handle and a draw string, and added the butterfly beads to the end of the drawstring. I think it came out nice. Much nicer then the pictures look. I am calling it "Berry Beautiful Baguette". I may try to make another and actually write down the pattern, I think I started with a chain of 26. I honestly don't remember, but it was a bad day yesterday, my mind was not running on all cylinders, LOL.
Oh yeah, today is the 21st isn't it? That means it's my anniversary. I have been married 27 years today. I can't say it's always been happy, in fact we had many rough years, but with lots of prayer and work we were able to hold it together. We have had fires, the loss of a baby, severe injuries to kids, sicknesses and surgeries, financial disasters, and these are just a few. But God uses everything in our lives to make us stronger, and I believe He made us stronger through these things too. I can only imagine where I'd be now had I given up trying to make this marriage work, and that is what really keeps me from stopping even now when things are rough.
We don't really have any plans, it's already a jam packed weekend. Tomorrow we go to a birthday party/clam steam, and Sunday after church we are taking Adam to a birthday party for Jack (The little boy he was playing with at Hannah's party in August, Jack and Adam are only 6 days apart in age)from what I hear they are having a clown, a bouncy house and who knows what else. My sister told me Jack's mom went way overboard, spent over $1000. She's crazy. I'd fret if a party cost me $100.
Oh yesterday I think I finished designing a pattern for a woman who requested a policeman's cap. I like how it came out for the most part, but I can't get the picture to come out clear on the camera. I really need to learn how to BLOCK.
So any Survivor fans out there? I have been a fan since season 1. I know how that Christian radio host felt about bowing down in that ceremony, I would have had trouble too. I like how she said she was not religious but had a personal relationship with Jesus and only to Him would she bow. I hope she stays around her attitude sounds right on. She can hopefully show how Jesus really is alive and walking with her, and maybe lives will be changed in China in more ways then 1.
I guess that's all for now.
Off to see about breakfast and cleaning up Adams toys before he gets here to mess them up again.
Thursday, September 20, 2007
It's Thursday just as expected
Why you may ask did I post a picture of fruit???
Because I LOVE fruit. LOL. I wish I had this fruit to eat right now, I'd be so happy.
I have nothing new to blog today... yesterday was busy with church etc. I started making a little purse for my niece but it's just barely started at this point, I might also make a pair of slipper socks if I can remember how to use the circulars as circulars, LOL.
I think I have some Avon lip gloss things with Disney princesses or High School Musical pictures on them and I might put those inside the purse. We shall see, I still have today and tomorrow to work on them.
Still waiting to see if Joe got the job finally. He needs to be employed by the time Adam has is court date, just in case they want him to take custody.
Jim is working, limited hours and at a lower pay rate, but next semester if he can get some better availability hours they will schedule him 32 hours a week and increase his pay rate by $6.00 an hour. It looks like he did not get the apartment he was expecting, the guy never called him back. So he found another one but it's $700 a month. It's going to be tough on a 12 hour work week at $8.00 an hour. But God will provide, He always does.
Adam will be here either tonight or tomorrow morning, and will stay until Sunday. I miss him. I think he would lift my spirits today, so maybe I can get him today.
I think I am going to rest today if he doesn't come. TOM is here and I am wiped out and a little on the emotional side if you know what I mean. A little sensitive today, maybe staying in bed is a good idea, :(
I thought about NOT blogging today but I had to come... even if I have nothing to say I still manage to say something.
I think I'll go find my IPOD and listen to some praise and worship to brighten my day.
Psa 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all [ye that are] upright in heart.
God Bless,
Aunt Kathy

Arr Arr Arr, A Pirate says Arr
I mentioned months ago I was making these fish shapes to sew into an afghan, they recommend using the CBBC method to attach and I just couldn't figure it out, so I stopped making the fish out of frustration. Yesterday I decided to try it again. I am still not sure if I got it right and the picture doesn't look the best but I am going to keep trying so I will be back to making fish again.
This pattern came from a yahoo group I belong to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BitsandBobs2-SpecialProjects/?yguid=32890921, but I think the pattern is also free on the web if you google fish patterns too.
==================
This is a tube shaped dish scrubber I made yesterday. I saw this idea somewhere, but this was actually my own thought yesterday. I started out to make a dishcloth but stopped and decided to try this version instead. I used the slip stitch pattern, I think I posted the link here before, it makes a very thick sturdy cloth, using 2 contrast colors... I folded it in half and stitched the side together to make the tube. it fits right over your had for a good grip while scrubbing dishes and then can slip over the faucet to dry when done. I'd love to make more of these, my problem is I have lot's of variegated yarn but no solid contrasting colors that match. Sure wish I had money to go yarn shopping.

This is the Apple shaped scrubber/dishcloth I made yesterday at the polls. The color is red, not orange but my camera and lighting is well, primitive, lol. I worked with three men, one of them my son, and they all kept saying they thought it was a HAT, geez Louise... Can't they see it's an Apple, does a hat have green leaves??? LOL
The pattern came from Harvest Moon designs website http://harvestmoondesigns.blogspot.com/ She also has many other patterns both free and for sale, you should check them out.

Okay now that all that is covered I am sure you are wondering why did I title today's blog "Arr Arr Arr, A Pirate says Arr"
Well I heard on the morning news today, it's International talk like a PIRATE day today... So if you comment, make sure you use your best Pirate language, mateys. Arr Arr Arr.
Election day went well, we have a steady flow but never too busy. Out of a possible 382 voters we had 173 show up. They combined two polling places into our building yesterday so there was a little confusion there, and the fact that only 2 parties were voting and people not registered in those parties were trying to vote, but I still enjoy the time there. I get to see my community, we laugh, and I can knit in between, can it get any better then that?
We got home just in time to catch Big Brother, I was a little let down by the finale show... I knew Dad Denoto would win, but they didn't clarify things like Danielle and Nick, Eric and Jessica relationships. I was curious. Most of the girls (most not all) looked very nice in their dresses.
Tonight is church night, so today I will try to take it a little easier on my legs.
Hope you all have smooth sailing on the high seas today, Arr Arr Arr
This pattern came from a yahoo group I belong to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BitsandBobs2-SpecialProjects/?yguid=32890921, but I think the pattern is also free on the web if you google fish patterns too.

Tuesday, primary day in NY
Good morning...
Isn't that banana just the cutest thing. I saw it on a blog somewhere, the pattern was free too, but it involved several double point needles so I quickly dismissed it, lol. I am askeered of double point needles.
Today is primary day in NY. I volunteer at the polls so I will be there from 11 to 9.
My husband and son work them too, so we will all be together today. We used to be in different polling sites but they condensed some this year and now we are all in the same building. Outta be fun.
Nice thing is I have plenty of time to knit or crochet. I haven't decided what to bring yet... probably a couple dishcloth cotton balls and maybe yarn to make a pink snake scarf, cause I think it's just the cutest thing.
I never did the slide shows yesterday, maybe tomorrow. This week is crazy already and it's only Tuesday.
I need to shower still, make a mini grocery list for food to bring to the polls and pack my supplies, can't forget important things like scissors or needles. LOL
Hope everyone has a wonderful day, stay warm, knit until you smile, and be thankful that we have yet another day to spend with the ones we love.
See you Wednesday

The Monday After
Well today I was going to post pictures of the many HATS of Adam, but I already have 10 and have only gone through 2 folders so far... LOL way too many
Instead I think I will make a slide show of these too, so keep an eye out for it in the next day or two.
Therefore I am going to post the scarf I made over the weekend, I LOVE it even though it's a snake. And the picture of the free yarn I had given to me last week.
======================
This is Joe and Adam just before we left for the birthday party at Adam's house. Adam on purpose made that face for the picture, every one I took he gave me that look, he thought it was funny. I will be adding a slide show of the birthday party pictures soon.
Sorry I didn't blog yesterday. I was just out of sorts I guess. By the time I got online it was late in the day and I just figured I'd wait until today. And then even today I am later then usual.
My husband is home sick today, so my Monday is all off sorts. This is my usual REST and RELAX day. Oh well.
It's pretty cold here. We even turned on the heat.
Ok I need to go rest my legs and then when I get back online I am making the new slide shows, well at least that's my plan, LOL

It's The Birthday Party Today
==================
Well today I decided to show pictures of some of the predicaments Adam has gotten himself into over the past three years. They are in no particular order, mostly because I changed the blog to show pictures in html form and I can't tell which picture is which until after I post it to the blog. There have been many more, I just haven't been able to get pictures of them all. And if he is anything like his daddy, he will have many many more. I need to keep batteries on hand for the camera at all times.
Today will be his first real birthday party, with games, a pinata, family and friends etc. I think it will be fun for everyone and I of course will have my camera ready to go.
It's raining today, but I don't mind the rain.
No bad dreams last night, but Adam did crawl in bed with me again, so I woke up all twisted and cramped. I think he just got cold. Most of the time he stays on the couch all night, but at home I think he always sleeps with his other grandma. He has his own room and bed there, but he doesn't stay there. When he was in the cast he had to learn to sleep alone, I thought it would be the perfect time to make that the habit, but as soon as the cast was off they had him sleeping with them again, bad idea. If it wasn't so cold last night I would have put him back on the couch, like I did the night before.
Oh and no Spiders either, woo hoo.
The feather and fan mini dishcloths... I CO 26, and do 4 rows of garter stitch border on each end and 7 pattern repeats in the middle. Does that make sense? They are about 5x5 and perfect for a mini theme cloth. I may attach them to a Candy cane or something, not sure yet.
I also started yesterday a snake shaped scarf, I am almost 1/2 finished and will post it here when it's done.
I have a few other things I have pictures to post but I want to finish Adams years first.
Tomorrow I think I will post his various hats, and other fun outfits... And maybe pictures from the party today.
Not much else is new around here. So I guess I'll go change the dirty diaper I can smell, yuck, and then make some waffles for breakfast.
See you all tomorrow.

TGIF, and Thank God for Everyday
=====================
Well today I thought since summer is almost over I'd high lite some of Adam's pool adventures. One of my favorite pictures is the one of Adam and his Dad (My son Joe) in the sunglasses. I have that in an 8X10.
Adam is sitting here with me now so this probably won't be as long as some of the other posting days.
He fell asleep last night at around 7:30, and at 3am I felt him crawling in bed with me. it was cold so I was going to let him stay there. I pulled the blanket off the top of my bed to cover us up with. he was sleeping still but I was uncomfortable so I was still awake, and then I felt something on my arm.
OK do you all remember the spider that crawled under my bed a few days ago? Well he
re-appeared on my arm (OK maybe it was a new spider but I chose to be a little delusional and say it was the same one) I couldn't see it, it was dark. My other had landed right on it and killed it, then picked it up, there was a big enough body left to pick up (that alone freaked me out, you all know spider shrink when dead, why is that anyway, are they full of air or something?)and I tossed it towards the dog. Now sleeping is far from me, that's for sure. I felt thousands of things on me then.
I got up to go to the bathroom and Adam came running in there almost scared the, well you now what, out of me. We came back to the living room and he was asking for me to out on Blues Clues, I said um, not until morning. So I put him back on the couch and he went back to sleep.
I prayed and after maybe an hour I fell asleep again, and then I had a terrible nightmare. I woke up rebuking that thought, it was awful. When I would close my eyes again I found myself going back to the dream to see what happened at the end, and waking up saying NO I don't want to go there.
Yeah I am gonna be tired today.
Maybe my mind is muddied up because Dick and Danielle are in the final two, LOL.
I did knit 2 more Feather and Fan dishcloths yesterday. And I hope to do at least two more today. Because I am making the smaller cloths it looks like I can get 4 from a ball. I like that alot.
Well I think I will go get breakfast for me and the Bubba... I am thinking cereal this morning.
Have a wonderful day, I'll be back tomorrow.

Happy 3rd Birthday Adam
Adams 1st birthday party pictures

Adam's 2nd Birthday pictures
===================
Today is Adams birthday. There isn't a party until Saturday but he will be here with us today until the party. If you were here when he was born, you'd probably know how monumental this is for me. I was at the hospital with Angie and Joe and her mom, from the moment she was admitted until the day she delivered, and it was a few days, since she was so early and they were trying to stop the contractions. Her mother and her brother were very rude to me then, because of his expected size only two people could be in the room when he was born, I had to leave and go down a long long long walk to a waiting room as did Angies brother. He would not even talk to me or sit with me, I was alone. I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, no one came to tell me for hours. I was a mess. The desk nurse was so kind, she told me where they would take the baby in the elevator to the NICU, so I watched, and when I saw them coming I tried to get a peek of the baby, but they covered him and wouldn't even let me see him. Can we say I was a basket case. It all worked out in the end. Oh and in the beginning they didn't even want me to have the baby here in my house, she didn't think my house was clean enough, what???? Anyway that ended once he was off the oxygen and before long the baby came more and more and now I am up to three to four days and a couple times a whole week of Adam living here. Things sure do change, huh?
I tell you I loved my kids when they were born, but a grand child is so different. My heart swelled up when I first saw that tiny boy, and it has never deflated. My life would not be complete without Adam.
Well Kathy let's just get all teary eyed so you can't type.
Michelle thanks for those patterns yesterday, I love them both.
(How's that for changing the subject, lol)
Hannah just came over with her new dog, they rescued the dog from TN, her name is Julia and she is 1 1/2 years old. I think she looks like a little fox and we should call her SWIPER, lol. Our dog Lady had to sneak in for a cameo photo as well. LOL
Church was good last night, as usual. It was of course in the little room so I had a bit of walking to do to get in there. It almost makes me want to skip going, but I won't. I will just do it. I was on my way in and one of the Inn employees said to me "are you gonna make it?" I told him " I have to, there is no other option."
Well I have a few things to clean up before we go get Adam, so I better sign off for today. More pictures tomorrow... wonder what theme I'll choose... come back tomorrow and see. LOL
