Sunday, Day 19 of the contest
Sunday... the day I look forward to all week.
Last night we went to my mom's church and listened to my niece and several other college students sing a little worship and praise concert. It was to say goodbye to everyone and earn some scholarship money as well. It was really good and three of the girls including my niece Autumn gave testimonies. I found myself teary eyed, I can't be more proud when I see what a wonderful woman she has become.
Ok back to contest stuff...
The answer yesterday was A DISHCLOTH... some of you may have noticed the "hint" I had in the post just before I wrote the riddle.
So on to todays... I have a question for you all
IF YOU FOUND YOURSELF STRANDED IN A YARN SHOP AND THEY ONLY HAD ONE SET OF KNITTING NEEDLES (OR CROCHET HOOK IF YOU DON'T KNIT)WHAT NEEDLE SIZE, TYPE WOULD YOU HOPE THEY HAD THERE?
OK that's it for today... I am off to get ready for church and then an afternoon of knitting and NASCAR.

A size "H" Susan Bates.
A pair of metal 7's.
a size 10 hook with a mountain of assorted thread colors
A size G Boye, and knitting worsted yarn.
No race today, it's rained out!! Dh is upset because he'll be at work tomorrow!
Hi Kathy,
Did you see today's free pattern at AnnieAttic? It's
a scarf with beads in it! Remember that I wrote on
one of the days that I am DYING to learn how to do
stuff with beads? And the scarf is rated EASY, so I
just may have a go at it!
Ok, on to today's question: Well, since you said: ".
. . AND THEY ONLY HAD ONE SET OF KNITTING NEEDLES . .
." I am going to say that I would want a set of
KnitPicks, since I've been hankering after them. Oh,
that's not what you meant (BG)? Well, in that case,
I'd want a pair of fast (b/c I'm so slow) metal 2's,
because then I could practice learning how to make
socks, which is my other big dream!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Pamala at Dogs' Little Acre in SoCal
size 10 or 11 circulars... i make lots of stuff with that one!!
I'm very upset about the race being cancelled... I'm camping in the rain... trying to go to my very first nascar race. It's cold, no race and no sign to the end of the rain... ick!! Cross your fingers for tomorrow!!
Katie, Katie, Katie!! Oh no! What a mess!! Hope you are finding ways to have fun in the rain.
I want a pair of 7's or 8's in ebony wood. Always wanted to try those. Can you imagine all that YARN???? I'm just drooling dreaming this one! Thanks for the virtual vacation, AK
AK! I'm back from Camp... and I would love to be stranded at the yarn shop with bamboo size 7s!
Michelle

oops.. that last comment was from me AK! Michelle (back from camp!) John was still logged in and I didn't notice it!
Hi Kathy
My answer to your riddle is I would hope they had 4.5 mm needles as find those are the ones I use most.
Hugs
Annette
boy thats a tuff one. I guess I'd have to say size H I have more crochet experience. As far as yarn I have been dying to try homespun.
I would want a size 7 because it would not take away from making dishcloths lol
Hello Kathy,
I wanted to thank you for stopping in at my blog several days ago! It was so kind to pay me a visit. :)
I wish I could have been at that concert. My daughter is a senior in high school this year and I have to savor each and every day. Where does the time go???
If I had set to choose from ... hmmm, I guess that they would be sized 5 Clovers.
Be blessed and have a joyous week.
