Monday, Monday... Day 15

Good Monday Morning...

Well I didn't sleep in today. No chance of that. My husband, who took the week off to go hunting, is still home and making quite a bit of noise. Hazards of sleeping in the living room I guess. He has this scanner, and let me tell you, it is going to drive me insane. Shelly knows, she's been on the phone with me when it's been on and the squelching and chatter can be so annoying. Anyway, my morning routine is a little off kilter, but I think he will be gone all afternoon. I like my alone time at home, especially on the days I am recovering from an Adam weekend.

Still feeling pretty good, not as great as yesterday but that's because I think TOM is coming to play today. Showed up last night unannounced and I am not thrilled either. But I guess there's not much I can do about it right?

How was your rest day yesterday? Did you get to spend time with family? Did you get to knit or crochet? I made another dishcloth pattern last night, it's supposed to be of polka dots. I'll be posting that to my pattern site later today after I type up the pattern. I may try to get a better picture too.

I finally mailed out 3 packages I have had here to mail for at least 2 months now. I also mailed out the exchange package so I can post the new pattern design I made for that this week too, I am excited to share it.

OK let's get onto the contest assignment for today...

TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE BABY AFGHAN I FINALLY FINISHED. SEE IF YOU CAN GUESS THE NUMBER OF ROUNDS IT TOOK TO COMPLETE THE PATTERN... TOMORROW I'LL REVEAL THE CORRECT ANSWER AND A LINK TO THE PATTERN FOR ANY THAT ARE INTERESTED.

REMEMBER YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE A CORRECT GUESS, YOU JUST NEED TO POST A GUESS IN THE COMMENT SECTION TO RECEIVE AN ENTRY FOR MY MYSTERY PRIZE THIS MONTH.

Well I guess I better get to doing something around here, so my hubby doesn't think I just sit her on the computer all day, oh wait, that is what I do, LOL.

I have absolutely no idea but it is beautiful. I have a fear of these round blankets...so intimidating. I will guess 92 but I am really clueless.
Sorry to hear about your surprise...I despise TOM...he always comes at the worst possible time! lol
Hugs!

I'll guess at 70. Didn't that just turn out lovely.

What movie are you watching this afternoon? Make it a good one, okay?

I'm guessing around 80-85 rows. The blanket turned out beautiful. Great job!

Yesterday, I put what I thought were the finishing touches to the lavender afghan. I was wrong. The shape is off. I need 4 more motifs. So I decided to make them in the white that I was using for the one row in the lavender motifs. This means that I have to remove the sc border, and take apart the whole darn thing almost!! Guess you know what I'll be doing later today! lol

I found a pattern for crocheted golf club covers. Since I have a large skien of a pretty green, I decided to try them. For some reason, this pattern uses an F hook on knitting worsted and it's driving me crazy. I thought about changing it, but think I'll finish the ribbing first. Then maybe I'll change to a G.

Becca's in the shower. She spent the night last night. We have to be over for her MRI around 12:45. It's now a little after 11:30. Guess I should go and put on a little makeup to try to look presentable. For some reason I have a pimple on my left cheek. Can you imagine a 61 yr old woman with a zit? LOL Never had this problem as a teenager!

Tomorrow, I will again have a phone!! I never thought that I would miss it so much, but I do. My stupid cell---I have to go outside so that I can understand the person calling. In the house it breaks up! not good!

See you later. I think I'd have to turn the scanner off or down. If all else fails I'd bash it with something! LOL

I'll say 74 rounds... but I don't know... i'm not much of a crocheter. It is very gorgeous!! I did some knitting... finished a couple dishcloths, watched a lot of football and walked around El Paso. Spent a lot of time on the phone talking to family, but no time spent... maybe soon!! Have a great monday!

I think it is 44 rounds.
Had a great day yesterday, and Oh I know what you mean about dear old Mother Nature. She is paying me a visit as we speak.......yesterday was the curse.
