Day 7, A day of REST

Yep Sunday is a day of rest. I love Sundays.

I just realised how silly my #50 looked yesterday, I tried to make it on paint, lol, guess I need to hone up on my skills a little.

I am feeling better today. Good news I am losing weight too, my scale is finally weighing me again without saying error, boy am I embarrassed to have to say that. But with not wanting to eat solid foods it sure does help the weight thing, huh?

OH I Wanted to say yesterday we hit 400 page views since the contest started, my goal is 2000 and we have 24 days left to get 1600 views, we CAN do it, right? At least we are on track for sure. It's these little things that excite me. LOL

TODAY'S CONTEST ASSIGNMENT:

TODAY I PRAY YOU FIND SOME TIME TO REST AND DO WHAT WE KNOW YOU LOVE. KNIT, CROCHET EVEN PLAY WITH THE FAMILY OR ALL OF THE ABOVE. WHATEVER YOU DECIDE TO DO, HAVE FUN. POSTING A COMMENT TO SAY HELLO, IS ALL YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DO, OR IF YOU WANT TO, YOU CAN EVEN TELL US WHAT FUN YOU ARE PLANNING THAT WOULD BE GREAT TO.

REMEMBER IT ONLY TAKES A COMMENT FOR AN ENTRY.

For me, first thing I am going to church, that's in 30 minutes and I am still not dressed, oops. Then afterwards, it's working on the star blanket while watching NASCAR at Talledega, can life be any better than that? Well maybe but it's a pretty good day just the same.

Remember even GOD rested one day a week, it's ok.

HUGS

Going to our friends house today. We will join together to make wonderfully delicous chicken fajitas and I made an Apple Crisp last night to go with it. It sure was a little too hot to be baking, but it is October and that is what you are suppose to do. Just tell momma nature that it is not August (like it feels)
Have a great day
God Bless you.........

Nascar and football is also on my docket for the day. Wish i could find a church I am happy with here... I might go more often. Cleaning and some yarn organizing is also on the bill.... I am only 369 away from being on Ravelry and I'm getting ready for it!! yea! It's only taken 2 months... but it's going faster now. Hardly moved for almost a month. Have a great blessed day!

I was supposed to work today. But got a phone call a couple of hours ago, saying I didn't have to.
Yay!!
I was (knitting blog) surfing before the phone call - because "work" involves using the computer for non-knittery purposes. And I just continued on with the reading afterwards.
But it's time to pick up my needles and show some productivity, right? (I did the day's requisite housework this morning.)

Happy knitting to all,
Janey

Knitting, nascar and football (and finally - a night game, so it doesn't interfere with nascar) whoooo hoooooot

Hi Kathy - glad you had a good night and hope today and all your tomorrows are better. It's Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada and where I live it's cool, windy and lots of the leaves have fallen from the elms. I am thankful for family (including my precious 15-year old dog, Casey), friends both near and far, the people I've "met" on the Internet. Living in Canada, having a job (as stressful as it is, it still brings in money for housing, food and yarn!)and being able to enjoy freedom to choose. Changes in seasons, HNIC is back, coming into a warm house and going to my first ever knitting workshop yesterday. I could go on - but what are YOU thankful for?

I'm a day behind as I went to my parents trailer in the states, near Lapeer, Mi. We went to celebrate Thanksgiving Day (which is actually Monday but I am celebrating it with my family a day ahead).

Compared to JoanK its hot where I am. With the humidex factored in its 38c (over 102F) and I don't like it. My in-laws have had cooler temps and rain but I am happy and thankful for having the time with my family.

Need Something to Read??? Say GimpyKatK sent you.
