Day 28, Sunday... a Day of Rest

Good Morning.

I am up, had breakfast and a long shower, french braided my hair and am just blog hopping and reading email until it's time to leave for church.

I finished my dishcloth yesterday. it's called CHOIR SINGERS, I have posted the pattern and picture on my patterns blog (see link on the right side of my blog) Here is the picture though cause I know you are all curious.

I am working on two more this weekend, and hopefully will be test knitting a couple patterns for another designer. Am I procrastinating my Christmas duties, you bet.

My sister Erin was over yesterday for a minute and I showed her my little smiley ornaments (they were made with the yarn her fiancee bought me at the yard sale... I wanted to show them I was using it) and she said she'd love a set of 50 or more smileys to decorate her tree. Help.... I don't have enough yellow. Then I got to thinking, why do they have to be yellow? I can make smileys in any color, right. Oh joy... I'm gonna be in smiley ville for a long time.

As you can see I have linked to the right side of my blog the contest I told you about the other day... well I found another one today...

Yesterday I finally stopped procrastinating about freezing our abundance of tomatoes. Alas I waited too long for some of them, they were not savable. But I got 4 food saver bags full and it wasn't as hard as I feared. I have 3 brown bags of green tomatoes ripening on the counter too, so I will get to these tomatoes as soon as they ripen.

Still have a zillion dishes to do, but the laundry is almost finished.

Hope you all have a wonderful day today, let God refresh you today. I love Sunday's.

See everyone tomorrow.

Well, I'm stiff, sore and cranky... My fiance and I moved all our stuff yesterday... a 26' moving truck to be exact... packed to the rim with our stuff... mostly by ourselves. A friend came over to unload, but all the loading and alot of the unloading fell to us... not a 2 person job... enough of my whining!! I will go over to Mrs. B's after I hit post here... I hope you all have a great day. (now to unpack, ha ha ha)

Hi Kathy, I hope you're having a nice weekend. Today is my day of rest. Friday and Saturday were both busy. Friday was WI and drs with Becca. Saturday was the Art Festival, and the historic society.

I went to visit Mrs. B's and posted a guess.

I've made two golf club covers so far. When I have time to sit down and do something. lol Last night, I was wishing that I had one of those lighted crochet hooks. I was sitting with my friend at the Civic League Bldg. waiting for the Chamber of Commerce Historical & Ghost Tour. They had 4 tours last night instead of 3. We sold calendars and notecards again and made $100 for the society. The last tour didn't reach us until around 11:45 pm! So it was a late night for me. I finally got to bed around 2 am.

Well, Princess needs to go out. Talk to you tomorrow.

Hi Kathy, hope you had a good Sabbath - I did guess on Mrs B's blog - don't expect to be right (haven't yet on yours!) but it is a great blog to read, full of pix and ideas.

Take care
