Day 12, TGIF and boy am I tired

Well what can I say yesterday was a day from, well you can guess.

I left at about 3pm to take Adam to his primary DR, who didn't even undress him and said I needed to take him to the emergency room, just in case. 8 hours later at 11pm he was finally on his way home to go "nite nite" as he had been asking since 5pm. The hospital took an x-ray, nothing wrong, so they gave him an enema and sent him home. No instructions as to what to do or not to do to prevent this for happening again. Very frustrated. I had not eaten all day and those waiting room chairs are not fat people friendly for sure. OUCH

I didn't get to bring my yarn so I was in withdrawal too. I am so glad the day is over. Adam ended up going home with his mom for the night but I think is coming back this afternoon and probably tomorrow as well.

I got home last night so tired and hungry, I ate a cold burrito took a Motrin and went straight to bed.

OK before I fall asleep sitting here I better do today's contest.

QUESTION DAY:
CAN YOU NAME SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE "MYSTERY BOX" THIS TIME? I ALREADY HAVE SEVERAL THINGS BUT I AM THINKING OF ADDING A FEW OTHERS... I'D REALLY LOVE TO HEAR SOME OF YOUR IDEAS. NOTHING IS SILLY, TELL ME ANYTHING, OK?

POST YOUR IDEAS IN THE COMMENT SECTION AND EARN ANOTHER ENTRY.

OK I really think I need a mid-morning nap already, lol.

See you tomorrow.

Cool stuff... hmmm..., well first of all, i hope adam is feeling better and you get a nap. Trust me I know about being tired. Check my blog later and I'll tell about my crazy day!

Lets see for the mystery box... Cute stitch markers? ummm..... cute pen to mark off your pattern? ummm...... maybe one of your personal patterns or dishcloths. (I really like the light and lacy blanket pattern... where'd ya find that??) Maybe a ball of yarn(picked up for cheap obviously) or needles, oh oh and i second the scrubbies idea that michelle posted above!! I don't know. i don't mean to sound expensive, cuz those things I've listed can get expensive, but I know I've seen them cheap too. i don't know. I'm tired and sitting in San Diego awaiting another day of torture at the hands of my company... I'll post about it later!! Hope you have a good day!

Hmmm what would I like to see in the Mystery Box.........A set of size 7 Knitting needles so I can practice my knitting, maybe some of your yo yo's to get me started on an afghan, sunflowers..did I hear sunflowers. I absolutly LOVE sunflowers. Anything would be just great...If everyone else is like me it is just great to get a box of goodies.
Now for Adam. Have you tried the benefiber???? There is some medical conditions that cause the muscle to not work properly, I can not remeber their names, But they thought that maybe my son had one. But Thank God it was not. As long as I control his Iron, dairy and peanut butter intake and give him benefiber on a regular basis we keep it controlled and he goes on a regular basis.
I sure hope someone finds a solution to the problem for the childs sake as well as everyone else's.

First I'd like to say I understand how long waiting in the hospital is without your knitting or crocheting! Second, I'd like to say that I think the dr. was an idiot! He could have told you to give Adam an enema himself!! I told you that my dd had that problem. Don't let Adam eat a lot of cheese, because it's binding. Try to get him to eat high fiber foods as much as you can, such as apples with their skin.

I don't have a clue as to what I'd like put into the mystery box. If I had my wish for anything, it would be one of those new light up crochet hooks, but I don't expect you to do that. I've got that on my Christmas list.

Talk to you soon!

I sure hope the enema helps Adam. He needs to feel better SOON.
As for the box...I agree with the scrubbies. Everyone needs a good scrubbie and I have had no luck making them myself. Get yourself some rest.
Hugs!

Something I would like to see in the mystery box is a needle gauge (the thing you use to determine what size your DPNs are without just guessing). My reason for this choice is that even though they're such a simple thing I haven't been able to find one anywhere except online - and I don't have a credit card, so online purchases are inconvenient at best.

Sorry, this is late but I love mysteries and surprizes so leave it up to you! Having said that, a couple of tea bags don't cost that much, weigh very little and are usually well received (non-tea drinkers have tea drinking friends, right?)

Hope by the time Adam comes today he'll be feeling and doing better

Need Something to Read??? Say GimpyKatK sent you.
