Momday Means Contest Day

Well not much to blog about, it was a pretty blah weekend. I was home with Adam alone most of Sunday, so it was filled with NOGGIN on TV and on the computer. Adam has learned how to turn on the speakers so he can have sound and he is almost able to find the bookmark link to find the websites he like to go to. It's actually a little scary how fast he learns what I do.

My sister Erin stopped by today and I am very concerned about her. She looks horrible. Her hair looks like it's falling out and all ratty, I bet she barely weighs 90 pounds, her eyes are sunken in and haughty looking. I hate what her new husband is doing to her. I just don't know how to help her, all I can do is pray. She is young, beautiful, smart and all those things seem to have vanished.

Anyway... let's just get onto the contest stuff for the day...

Monday Make it Matter

I was wondering do you set rules before you knit/crochet? For instance do you make it a rule to finish a certain chore before you start etc. Or do you just knit first and worry about housework later?

Post your answer in the comment section to receive another entry for this weeks prize. No answer is a wrong answer so feel free to tell us how it really is, LOL.

Oh and thanks for the suggestions on the soy/rice milk I tried the mixing of the two and he still noticed... I'm not sure what they are doing at his house. But we will keep trying. He has never been a fan of flavored milk so not sure if he will drink the chocolate.

Well it's almost midnight here so I am going to start getting ready for bed. I'll be looking forward to reading your responses today.

I would have to say that there are NO RULES in my crafting life....I do it when I can, even if that means that sometimes the dishes do not get done, or the laundry stays in the basket to get folded (for days) UNLESS of course someone is coming over,, then I will not pick it up til the work is done, and that means I may not get to pick it up til the company leaves....
I am praying for Erin.....my thoughts are always with you...

A lot of days, I start knitting or crocheting as soon as I finish my breakfast, which means that my bed is made and that's about it! Housework doesn't intrest me very much. I'd rather be doing something, anything, else! I dust when it gets so bad that I can write my name in it on my shelves! lol Hope I'm not alone here!

Sorry to hear about your sister. Is she sick? I'll keep her in my prayers.

I don't set rules with chores very much, but when I'm at university I do sometimes need to set rules with homework. Otherwise I'd never get it done. The housework either gets done as part of my routine (I never wait too long before washing dishes) or when I get too disgusted with it to leave it any longer (I really hate vacuuming).

I just put it in when I feel like it. I have no kids, so I just need to pick up after myself. i will make deals with myself when I work on my really hard projects... do 2 rows and i can go do something else... just depends on what it is... Or, I'll knit/crochet while the laundry is going or such...

Most of the time I just knit and to heck with the chores. But, sometimes if it's just gotta be done then I will do what needs doing before I pick up the needles.

AK, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I think I know what she's going through and if I'm right...she will have to reach her limit before she's ready to say ENOUGH! I hope that time comes soon for her sake. I'll be praying for her. Nobody deserves to be treated that way.

Hugs!
